PipeUp

Students under the age of 18 affiliated to the Lyme Regis Organ School receive their tuition at a subsidised rate through the Salisbury Diocesan “PipeUp” Scheme, supported by the Tindall Trust. This scheme has been in operation since 2008, and it aims to train new young organists through weekly lessons in a number of centres across the Diocese in Dorset and Wiltshire.

The Dorchester PipeUp centre has trained more than a dozen new organists over the past five years. Currently six young people are training there, and another three at the Lyme Regis centre.
