Sunday 2 February 2020 at 4pm
St Swithun’s Church, Bridport
Featuring Bach’s cantata 82, ‘Ich habe genug’ [‘I have enough’]
The service is free of charge. There will be a retiring collection to help us defray our costs.
We are looking for singers to join the choir to lead the singing at this event. The choir will sing the well-known motet ‘When to the Temple Mary Went’ by Johannes Eccard, along with the chorales for the day. There will be a rehearsal for the singers at 2.45pm, and tea will be provided at 3.30. A small charge of £10 per singer will be collected on the day to cover additional costs. If you would like to sing in this special service, please email Peter Lea-Cox (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Sunday 12 January, giving your name, voice part and postal address, so we can send you your music in advance.
Our series of Bach Vespers services is made possible by a generous grant from the George Eyre Charitable Trust to help with expenses
